Our baby is one!!
It is so hard for us to wrap our mind around how fast and wonderful the last year has been! Being a parent is so wonderful and we feel so grateful that Kinley is our sweet daughter, she has taught us so much, and brought us closer together as a couple. She has also brought so much sunshine into our lives it is amazing! For her 12 month photos we decided we needed to do a cake smash for Kin, I thought she would probably eat the whole cake in one sitting but I was wrong, she was more interested in smearing it all over and making a mess. :)
The cake didn't turn our perfect, but thats okay. :)
Right now Kinley is:
-Weight: 16.9 (8%)
-Height: 28.5 in (24%)
-Head circumference: 18 in (71%)
-Running everywhere! Still falls down every now and again, but she can get around pretty well. She prefers walking to crawling
-very social, she loves playing around other kids and isn't shy at all
-waves bye bye & hi
-gives lots of kisses & hugs / blows kisses all the time
-plays peek a boo
-loves her baby doll and will give her a kiss if you tell her too
-She is a girly girl to the MAX! She loves to wear my necklaces, will carry around a purse, and let me paint her toe nails
-shakes her head "no" a lot, especially when you ask her "Kinley, are you naughty?'
-She dances like a crazy lady whenever music is on
-still napping twice a day, she still very much needs them both
-loves to have books read to her
-she has started to want other people besides chris and I, but mainly just her grandmas and her aunts
-loves steamed veggies, french fries, and fruit
-folds her arms without being told to, she will fold them when we get ready to pray. She also says "AH" after everyone says "amen." She especially loves to do this while in Sacrament meeting… at the top of her lungs
-Throws a fit if someone takes something away that she wants
-she signs more, please, and thank you (kinda)
-she loves music
-she also loves to be outside, it doesn't matter what we are doing but if we are outside she is in Heaven!
-She loves grandma Heaton's kitty's, whenever they are around she always points to them
She is our greatest joy and we love her so very much! Happy birthday, miss Makinley Rae!!
The 4th to last one is my FAVORITE.. and the 4th from the top. They are both so perfect!. She is so pretty and so happy with that pink frosting! Miss you!
