Kinley does things that surprise me sometimes, just like this with the fruit snacks. I gave them all to her and she straightens them and organizes them by color. :) She likes order and groups. (She also wouldn't look at me for a picture.)
She loves "doodles." Chris has called noodles "doodles" to Kinley and she always asks for them by "doodles" now.
I hosted a Christmas sock exchange at my house with some of my girl friends, it was so fun and a great turn out. This will definitely be a yearly thing for me. :)
all of us in our Christmas socks!
Kin has begun throwing tantrums and meltdowns, no where is exempt for them coming out. Even Target!
She wasn't budging.
I thought we would share the cone, guess not. :)
our first snow!
She woke up and said "look, NOSE!"
FaceTime with ashty!!
Baby sister is looking good!! She is still a girl and measuring right on, she is also extremely cute for still being a fetus. :) At our follow up appointment she was cooperating really well and we got some great 3D pictures of her face!
baby sister!
look at this long hair!!!
She brought Olaf to nap.
pulling faces at mama.
we were playing games when all the cousins were here, Kin found herself a nice seat between Mason and Dallin!
:)
wrapping herself up in a blank.
We celebrated 3 years on Dec 22nd! Chris brought me home these beautiful roses, we celebrated by ordering Cowboy Butte take out for dinner and eating as fast as we can before the Live Nativity in town. :) It was perfect.
So beautiful, he always does a great job and is so thoughtful for what he thinks I would enjoy.
Chris out weeding in the front!
Zack and Jo stayed at grandma and grandpa's a few days after their parents left and we spent one night playing old maid with them. It was so fun to play with these cute kiddies, they are so sweet and so fun. We sent this photo to their parents!
queen elsa
This is the outfit she brought me to change her into! She is getting so independent.
We are loving apples over here, we eat at least one a day. :)
She obviously can't get enough!
She got a dyson vacuum for Christmas, I was vacuuming the floor and she ran and got hers to help me out. :) What a sweetie!
Who taught her this??? :)
Cutie!
Kin is growing and learning so much everyday, she surprises us with some of the words she knows. Right now Kinley is saying / doing:
-"What happened?"
-"Hi mommy / daddy!"
-"Oh man!" (for literally everything.)
-She calls most round fruits / vegetables an "apple."
-She says "yellow" and calls every color yellow
-She can sing a lot of the words to "let it go," "I love you," and other primary songs.
-She will pretend to sleep / snore then she will yell "WAKE UP!" Or if you're napping she will be sure to get really close to you and yell "wake up!!!"
-She will kiss my belly and say "hi baby," but if you ask her if she wants a baby sister she will say "NO!" She is serious too, she is very adamant about not wanting a sister. :)
-She loves to "play," she will ask me once a day if we can go "play." I'm sure she is referring to playing with her cousins.
-She loves church, she also says "church." While we're there she makes sure to ask for bread and water during sacrament and she tries hard to be reverent and fold her arms during prayers. She knows when its time to be reverent even when its really hard to do so. She also likes to sing REALLY loud and lead the music. Her nursery leader tells me she loves "Jesus wants me for a sunbeam" and she sings the word "BEAM" very loud when it comes.
-She loves the iPad or the "pad" as she calls it, she will use the primary apps often. She will sit through almost a whole talk! Chris and I crack up as she is sitting there watching the prophet or apostles speak. It makes us happy though, and hope her love for the gospel will continue to grow always.
-She calls our phones "HONE."
-She also likes to watch barney, barbie, and daniel tiger. But Frozen will forever be her favorite I am sure.
-She loves her family and recognizes extended family, she loves to be around her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She also loves to FaceTime / call them even when mama isn't in the room.
-She loves to pretend to read and she loves to color. She could sit and color for an hour easily!
-She also likes to help make dinner, clean anything (especially the toilets), and work along side me.
-She loves to dance and do flips, she also likes to laugh really loud and be the center of attention.
-Her desire to obey is very obvious, she tries her hardest to always listen to Chris or I. She will (usually) always do what we ask her, she can be defiant at times but she wants to make us happy.
-She loves grandma's kitty, and tries to be as soft as she can. She also loves the horses and cows.
-If you're watching football she will yell: "GO GO GO GO!" She has sat through quite a few footballs with her parents. :)
-She also likes to pretend to shoot shot guns.
-She has 12 teeth and weighs around 20 lbs.

Chris and I feel so blessed with the year we've had, we have grown so much as a family. Chris is currently serving as the Young Men's president, it's been fun to watch him as he leads the Young Men. He is a great example to them and a wonderful leader, and I am serving as the Young Women's beehive advisor. We have really enjoyed working with the youth this last year! We look forward to what the next year has in store for us as we gain another member of our family, and as we plan to make major changes in our life. 2014 has been so great for us!
