Chris and I met my mom in SLC the night before we were supposed to leave, my mom took the girls up to Idaho and we stayed at Amy and Travis house that night and woke up super early to leave for Trek! We drove instead of riding the bus so we could get our girls up to my mom. The drive there was so fun, we could just sit and chat, take our time, stop when we wanted to. :) It was really nice!
We were driving in the middle of nowhere pretty much the whole way to Wyoming. There was hardly any places to stop. So this was a bathroom break location!
Chris may have gotten pulled over in Sweet water, Wyoming and got a ticket.
nothing a little lunch wont cure.
Such a fun roadtrip with him.
we finally got there, there were quite a few people already there who drove themselves.
Dressed and ready for our first day!
This statue was of one of the rescuers who helped settle the area we live in. Pretty neat.
this was our family! We had such a fun time, I loved learning about our ancestors and all they did. As we trekked six miles a day, we were able to reflect a fraction of their sacrifices and it was truly a wonderful experience. I'm so glad we went and took part in this great experience.
